Moderate Islam

Moderate Islam is a mis-leading label used by moderate Muslims.

Moderate Muslims

Moderate Muslims fall into several categories all of whom are non-violent.

Misinformed Muslims

This group is unaware of the history of Islam, the Quran, hadiths, and other matters pertaining to Islam.

Duplicitous Muslims

This group includes people who are thoroughly informed on the subject of Islam like many of Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC), the Islamic cleric Mohammad Khatami, and a host of others.

These moderate Muslims are like moderate Nazis who were against killing the Jews in Germany.

The duplicitous moderate Muslims do public relations work for Islam and thereby help the "extremist" Islamic cause.

Some of the disingenuous moderate Muslims are outright liers. For example, a "moderate" female Islamic cleric, who has spoken out against the niqab, has said:

In the days of the Prophet, women were not closed up or isolated. The woman went to the mosque, went to religious meetings, and participated in wars, and raids, as well as in the economy. Therefore, Islam is against the isolation of women.

Su'ad Saleh

True, some women did participate in jihad; however, these incidents were handful in the history of Islam. Women were never routinely recruited into the military like NATO does today.
