Verše vlevo jsou zrušenými verši (Mansūkh) Koránu, zatímco verše napravo jsou rušícími verši (Nāsikh).

"Verš meče" znamená Korán 9:5, a vzhledem k tomu, kolik veršů ruší (asi 113),[1][2] budeme psát "Verš meče" místo tohoto verše:
A až uplynou posvátné měsíce, pak zabíjejte modloslužebníky, kdekoliv je najdete, zajímejte je, obléhejte je a chystejte proti nim všemožné nástrahy! Jestliže se však kajícně obrátí, budou dodržovat modlitbu a dávat almužnu, nechte je jít cestou jejich, vždyť Bůh je věru odpouštějící, slitovný.

2:3 kteří v nepoznatelné věří, modlitbu dodržují a z toho, co jsme jim uštědřili, rozdávají, 9:103 Ber ze jmění jejich almužnu, kterou je očišťuješ a ospravedlňuješ! Modli se za ně, neboť modlitba tvá bude pro ně uklidněním a Bůh je slyšící, vševědoucí.
2:62 Věru ti, kdož uvěřili, a ti, kdož jsou židy, křesťany a sabejci , ti, kdož uvěřili v Boha a v den soudný a konali zbožné skutky – ti naleznou odměnu u Pána svého a nemusí mít strach a nebudou zarmouceni. 3:85 Kdo touží po jiném náboženství než po islámu , nebude to od něho přijato a v životě budoucím bude mezi těmi, kdož ztrátu utrpí.
2:83 A hle, uzavřeli jsme úmluvu s dítkami Izraele: „Nebudete uctívat nikoho kromě Boha jediného! Buďte dobří k rodičům, příbuzným, sirotkům a nuzným! Mluvte laskavě s lidmi, dodržujte modlitbu a dávejte almužnu!“ Potom jste se však odvrátili – kromě několika málo z vás – a vzdálili. 9:5 Verš meče
2:109 Mnozí z vlastníků Písma by si přáli učinit z vás znovu nevěřící poté, co dostalo se vám víry, ze závisti, jež je v nich, i když se pravda stala již zjevnou. Vymažte a odpusťte jim, pokud nepřijde Bůh s rozkazem Svým – a Bůh věru je mocný nade věcmi všemi. 9:29 Bojujte proti těm, kdož nevěří v Boha a v den poslední a nezakazují to, co zakázal Bůh a Jeho posel, a kteří neuctívají náboženství pravdy, z těch, kterým se dostalo Písma dokud nedají poplatek přímo vlastní rukou, jsouce poníženi.
2:115 Bohu náleží východ i západ, a ať se obrátíte kamkoliv, všude je tvář Boží. A Bůh věru je všezahrnující, vševědoucí! 2:144 Vídáme tě často obracet tvář svou k nebi sem a tam a obrátíme tě proto ke qible, jež se ti bude líbit. Obrať tedy tvář svou směrem k Mešitě posvátné! A kdekoliv budete, obracejte tvář svou ve směru jejím! Věru ti, jimž dostalo se Písma, vědí dobře, že to je pravda od Pána jejich přicházející. A není Bohu lhostejné, co dělají.
2:139 Rci: „Chcete se s námi přít o Bohu? Vždyť On Pánem je naším i Pánem je vaším, my skutky své máme a vy skutky své máte. My jen Jemu zasvěcujeme svou víru upřímnou. 9:5 Verš meče
2:158 As-Safá a al-Marwa věru patří k posvátným místům Božím; a kdo plní povinnost pouti k Chrámu nebo koná malou pouť, ten nedopustí se hříchu, když vykoná obcházení okolo obou těch míst. A kdokoliv dobrovolně koná dobré,. . . vždyť Bůh je za díky uznalý a vševědoucí. 2:130 A kdo jiný může mít odpor vůči náboženství Abrahamovu než ten, kdo v duši své je pošetilý? My vyvolili jsme si Abrahama již na tomto světě a na onom světě on věru je mezi bezúhonnými.
2:159 Ty, kdož zatajují to, co jsme seslali z jasných důkazů a správného vedení, poté, co jsme je lidem v Písmu vysvětlili, věru ty Bůh prokleje a proklejí je i proklínající 2:160 kromě těch, kdož kajícně se obrátí, polepší se a jasně to projeví; těm popřeji sluchu, vždyť Já jsem vyslyšující, slitovný.
2:178 Vám, kteří věříte, jest předepsán zákon krevní msty za zabití: muž svobodný za muže svobodného, otrok za otroka, žena za ženu. A bude-li komu sleveno něco bratrem jeho, pak nechť následován je zvyk uznaný a budiž zaplacení přijato s dobrou vůlí. A toto je ulehčení a milost od Pána vašeho; kdo pak přestoupí toto nařízení, tomu dostane se trestu bolestného. 5:45

A předepsali jsme jim v Tóře: duši za duši, oko za oko, nos za nos, ucho za ucho, zub za zub a za zranění mstu. A kdo místo toho dá almužnu, bude to pro něj vykoupením z hříchů. Ti pak, kdo nesoudí podle toho, co seslal Bůh, ti věru jsou nespravedliví.


Sláva tomu, jenž za noci přenesl služebníka Svého z Posvátné mešity do mešity nejvzdálenější, jejíž okolí jsme požehnali, abychom mu ukázali některá Svá znamení. A On věru slyšící je a jasnozřivý.
2:180 Jest vám předepsáno, že když dostaví se smrt k některému z vás a on zanechá vám majetek, má učinit závěť ve prospěch rodičů a příbuzných podle zvyklosti uznané – a to je povinností pro bohabojné. 4:7

Mužům náleží podíl z toho, co zůstavili rodiče a blízcí příbuzní, a ženám náleží podíl z toho, co zůstavili rodiče a blízcí příbuzní – ať již je toho málo, nebo mnoho – jako podíl určený.

A Bůh vám stanoví o dětech vašich toto: synovi podíl rovný podílu dvou dcer; a je-li dcer více než dvě, patří jim dvě třetiny toho, co zůstavil. A jestliže je dcera pouze sama, tedy jí patří polovina. A rodičům jeho: každému z nich jedna šestina toho, co zůstavil, jestliže měl mužského potomka. Jestliže neměl mužského potomka, pak po něm dědí jeho rodiče, přičemž matce jeho patří jedna třetina. A jestliže měl bratry, pak matce náleží jedna šestina toho, co zůstane po vyplacení odkazů a uhrazení dluhu“. A vy nevíte, kdo z rodičů či dětí vašich je vám užitečnější. A toto je ustanovení od Boha a věru Bůh je vševědoucí, moudrý.

Vy, kteří věříte, předepsán vám jest půst, tak jako byl již předepsán těm, kdož před vámi byli – snad budete bohabojní!

Postěte se jen po určený počet dní! Ten z vás, kdo je nemocen anebo na cestách, nechť postí se stejný počet dní později. Ti, kdož mohou se postit, však nečiní tak, ti nechť se vykoupí nakrmením jednoho chudého. Kdo však dobrovolně učiní více dobrého, bude to přičteno k jeho dobru. A půst je pro vás lepší – jste-li rozumní.
2:185 Postním měsícem je měsíc ramadán, v němž Korán byl seslán jako vedení správné pro lidi a jako vysvětlení tohoto vedení i jako spásné rozlišení. Kdo z vás spatří na vlastní oči měsíc, nechť se postí! Ten z vás, kdo je nemocen nebo na cestách, nechť postí se stejný počet dní později; Bůh si přeje vám to usnadnit a nechce na vás obtížné. Dodržujte plně tento počet a chvalte Boha za to, že správně vás vede – snad budete vděční!
2:190 A bojujte na stezce Boží proti těm, kdož bojují proti vám, avšak nečiňte bezpráví, neboť Bůh nemiluje ty, kdož se bezpráví dopouštějí. 9:5

9:36
Verš meče

Zajisté počet měsíců u Boha je dvanáct měsíců, stanovený v Knize Boží v den, kdy stvořil nebesa a zemi. A z nich jsou čtyři měsíce posvátné, a to je náboženství neměnitelné. Proto si v nich nečiňte vzájemně zlé,nýbrž bojujte proti nevěřícím jako jeden muž, tak jako oni bojují proti vám jako jeden muž a vězte, že Bůh stojí na straně bohabojných.

Zabíjejte je všude, kde je dostihnete, a vyžeňte je z míst, odkud oni vás vyhnali, vždyť svádění od víry je horší než zabití. Avšak nebojujte s nimi poblíže Mešity posvátné, dokud oni s vámi zde nezačnou bojovat. Jestliže však vás tam napadnou, zabte je – taková je odměna nevěřících!

Jestliže však přestanou. . . tedy Bůh věru je odpouštějící, slitovný!
9:5 Verš meče
2:215 Dotazují se tě na to, co mají rozdávat. Rci: „To, co rozdáváte z majetku, je pro rodiče, příbuzné, sirotky, nuzné a jdoucího po cestě Boží. 2:217 Dotazují se tě na posvátný měsíc a na bojování v jeho průběhu. Rci: „Bojovat v něm je hřích těžký, avšak odvracet od stezky Boží, nevěřit v Něj a v Mešitu posvátnou a vyhánět obyvatele jejich z ní je ještě těžší hřích před Bohem; svádět od víry je horší než zabíjet. Nevěřící nepřestanou proti vám bojovat, dokud vás neodvrátí od náboženství vašeho, budou-li toho schopni. Pro ty z vás, kdož od náboženství svého odpadnou a jako nevěřící zemřou, marné bude jejich konání na tomto i onom světě – ti ohně obyvateli se stanou a nesmrtelní v něm budou. 9:5 Verš meče

Vy, kteří věříte! Nepřibližujte se k modlitbě, jste-li opilí, dokud nebudete vědět, co říkáte; a nekonejte ji, jste-li znečištěni polucí – leda jste-li na cestě – dokud jste se neumyli! A jste-li nemocní nebo na cestách či někdo z vás přišel ze záchodu či měl styk se ženami, a nenaleznete-li vodu, omývejte se čistým pískem a otřete si jim obličeje i ruce své! A Bůh je věru promíjející a odpouštějící.

Vy, kteří věříte! Víno, hra majsir, obětní kameny a vrhání losů šípy jsou věru věci hnusné z díla satanova. Vystříhejte se toho – a možná, že budete blaženi.

Ber ze jmění jejich almužnu, kterou je očišťuješ a ospravedlňuješ! Modli se za ně, neboť modlitba tvá bude pro ně uklidněním a Bůh je slyšící, vševědoucí.
2:221 Nevstupujte ve sňatek s modloslužebnicemi,A pokud neuvěří; a věřící otrokyně je věru lepší než modloslužebnice, i když se vám tato více líbí. Neprovdávejte dcery své za modloslužebníky, pokud tito neuvěří; a věřící otrok je věru lepší než modloslužebník, i když se vám tento více líbí. Takoví lidé vás zvou do ohně pekelného, zatímco Bůh vás zve do ráje a k odpuštění, s dovolením Svým, a objasňuje znamení Svá lidem – snad si to připomenou! 5:5 Dnes jsou vám dovoleny výtečné pokrmy; jídla těch, jimž dostalo se Písma, jsou vám též dovolena a pokrmy vaše jsou zase dovoleny jim. A dovoleny jsou vám muhsany z věřících žen a muhsany z těch, jimž dostalo se Písma před vámi, jestliže jste jim dali jejich odměnu a chováte-li se jako muži spořádaní, nikoliv jako cizoložníci nebo ti, kdož si berou milenky. A kdokoliv zavrhne víru, toho skutky budou marné a v životě budoucím bude mezi těmi, kdož ztrátu utrpí.
2:228 A rozvedené ženy nechť samy čekají po tři periody a není jim dovoleno zatajovat to, co Bůh stvořil v lůnech jejich, věří-li v Boha a v den soudný. A je spravedlivější, jestliže manželé jejich si je vezmou nazpět v tomto stavu, pokud si přejí usmíření. A ony mají pro sebe stejné právo jako oni podle zvyklosti, nicméně muži jsou o stupeň výše – a Bůh je mocný, moudrý. 2:229

Rozvod je možný dvakrát, potom lze podržet manželku podle správné zvyklosti nebo ji propustit v dobré vůli. Není vám dovoleno vzít nic z toho, co jste jí dali, leda že oba se obáváte, že nedodržíte omezení Bohem daná. Jestliže se obáváte, že nedodržíte omezení Bohem daná, tedy nebude pro žádného z obou vás hříchem, jestliže žena se vykoupí. Toto jsou omezení Bohem daná, nepřekračujte je! Ti, kdož překračují Boží omezení, ti jsou nespravedliví!

Jestliže zapudí muž ženu svou, není mu potom dovolena dříve, než byla vdána za jiného muže. A když tento se s ní rozvede, není pro žádného z obou hříchem, jestliže se k sobě vrátí, domnívají-li se, že budou dodržovat omezení Bohem daná. A toto jsou omezení Boží a On je činí jasnými pro lid vědoucí.
2:234 Pro ty, kdož k Bohu byli povoláni a zanechali manželky, platí, že ony mají vyčkat samy o sobě čtyři měsíce a deset dní. A když dosáhnou lhůty své, nebude pro vás hříchem, jestliže si budou počínat samy se sebou podle zvyklosti uznané. A Bůh dobře ví, co děláte. 2:240 Ti z vás, kteří budou ke Mně povoláni a zanechají manželky, nechť odkáží manželkám svým zaopatření na celý rok, aniž je nutí odejít z domu. Jestliže však odejdou, potom není pro vás hříchem to, co samy se sebou učiní podle zvyklostí uznaných. A Bůh věru je mocný, moudrý.
2:256 Nebudiž žádného donucování v náboženství! A již bylo jasně rozlišeno správné vedení od bloudění! Ten, kdo nevěří v Tághúta a věří v Boha, ten uchopil se rukojeti spolehlivé, jež nikdy se neutrhne. A Bůh je slyšící, vševědoucí. 9:5 Verš meče
2:284 Bohu náleží vše, co na nebesích je i na zemi. A ať již dáváte najevo to, co je v duších vašich, či to skrýváte, Bůh požádá vás o počet z toho. On odpustí, komu bude chtít, a potrestá toho, koho bude chtít – On nade všemi věcmi je mocný. 2:286 Bůh ukládá duši jen to, co je pro ni možné; dostane se jí odměny za to, co si pro sebe i proti sobě vysloužila. „Pane náš, neměj nám za zlé, jestliže jsme zapomněli či chybili! Pane náš, nenakládej na nás břímě tíživé, podobné tomu, jež jsi naložil na ty, kdož byli před námi! Pane náš, nenakládej nám břemena, která nemůžeme unést, a vymaž nám chyby naše, smiluj se nad námi a odpusť nám! Tys ochráncem naším, pomoz nám k vítězství nad lidem nevěřícím!“
2:285 Uvěřil posel v to, co od Pána jeho mu bylo sesláno, a uvěřili všichni věřící v Boha, anděly Jeho i Písma Jeho i posly Jeho – a My neděláme rozdíl mezi posly Jeho – a řekli: „Slyšeli jsme a uposlechli jsme; o odpuštění Tvé prosíme, Pane náš, a u Tebe je konečný cíl náš!“ 2:286 Bůh ukládá duši jen to, co je pro ni možné; dostane se jí odměny za to, co si pro sebe i proti sobě vysloužila. „Pane náš, neměj nám za zlé, jestliže jsme zapomněli či chybili! 3:28 Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming. 8:57

4:43 O you who believe! do not go near prayer when you are Intoxicated until you know (well) what you say, nor when you are under an obligation to perform a bath-- unless (you are) travelling on the road-- until you have washed yourselves; and if you are sick, or on a journey, or one of you come from the privy or you have touched the women, and you cannot find water, betake yourselves to pure earth, then wipe your faces and your hands; surely Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving. 5:90 O you who believe! intoxicants and games of chance and (sacrificing to) stones set up and (dividing by) arrows are only an uncleanness, the Shaitan's work; shun it therefore that you may be successful.
4:63 These are they of whom Allah knows what is in their hearts; therefore turn aside from them and admonish them, and speak to them effectual words concerning themselves. 9:5 Verš meče
4:64 And We did not send any messenger but that he should be obeyed by Allah's permission; and had they, when they were unjust to themselves, come to you and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had (also) asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Oft-returning (to mercy), Merciful. 9:80 Ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will not forgive them; this is because they disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the transgressing people.
4:71 O you who believe! take your precaution, then go forth in detachments or go forth in a body. 9:122 And it does not beseem the believers that they should go forth all together; why should not then a company from every party from among them go forth that they may apply themselves to obtain understanding in religion, and that they may warn their people when they come back to them that they may be cautious?

Whoever obeys the Messenger, he indeed obeys Allah, and whoever turns back, so We have not sent you as a keeper over them.

And they say: Obedience. But when they go out from your presence, a party of them decide by night upon doing otherwise than what you say; and Allah writes down what they decide by night, therefore turn aside from them and trust in Allah, and Allah is sufficient as a protector.

Except those who reach a people between whom and you there is an alliance, or who come to you, their hearts shrinking from fighting you or fighting their own people; and if Allah had pleased, He would have given them power over you, so that they should have certainly fought you; therefore if they withdraw from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not given you a way against them.

You will find others who desire that they should be safe from you and secure from their own people; as often as they are sent back to the mischief they get thrown into it headlong; therefore if they do not withdraw from you, and (do not) offer you peace and restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and against these We have given you a clear authority.

4:92 And it does not behoove a believer to kill a believer except by mistake, and whoever kills a believer by mistake, he should free a believing slave, and blood-money should be paid to his people unless they remit it as alms; but if he be from a tribe hostile to you and he is a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (suffices), and if he is from a tribe between whom and you there is a convenant, the blood-money should be paid to his people along with the freeing of a believing slave; but he who cannot find (a slave) should fast for two months successively: a penance from Allah, and Allah is Knowing, Wise. 9:1 (This is a declaration of) immunity by Allah and His Messenger towards those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement.
4:140 And indeed He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear Allah's communications disbelieved in and mocked at do not sit with them until they enter into some other discourse; surely then you would be like them; surely Allah will gather together the hypocrites and the unbelievers all in hell. 9:5 Verš meče

5:13 But on account of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few of them; so pardon them and turn away; surely Allah loves those who do good (to others). 9:5

And do not abuse those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest exceeding the limits they should abuse Allah out of ignorance. Thus have We made fair seeming to every people their deeds; then to their Lord shall be their return, so He will inform them of what they did.

6:137 And thus their associates have made fair seeming to most of the polytheists the killing of their children, that they may cause them to perish and obscure for them their religion; and if Allah had pleased, they would not have done it, therefore leave them and that which they forge. 9:5 Verš meče

8:72 Surely those who believed and fled (their homes) and struggled hard in Allah's way with their property and their souls, and those who gave shelter and helped-- these are guardians of each other; and (as for) those who believed and did not fly, not yours is their guardianship until they fly; and if they seek aid from you in the matter of religion, aid is incumbent on you except against a people between whom and you there is a treaty, and Allah sees what you do. 9:5 Verš meče

The dwellers of the desert are very hard in unbelief and hypocrisy, and more disposed not to know the limits of what Allah has revealed to His Messenger; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.

And of the dwellers of the desert are those who take what they spend to be a fine, and they wait (the befalling of) calamities to you; on them (will be) the evil calamity; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
9:99 And of the dwellers of the desert are those who believe in Allah and the latter day and take what they spend to be (means of) the nearness of Allah and the Messenger's prayers; surely it shall be means of nearness for them; Allah will make them enter into His mercy; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

And that He may punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Polytheists men and women, who imagine an evil opinion of Allah. On them is a round of Evil: the Wrath of Allah is on them: He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them: and evil is it for a destination.
