Wormholes (in Arabic ثقب دودي [1]) are not mentioned anywhere in the Quran [2].

The word معراج (mi'raaj)
A wormhole is called ثقب دودي in Arabic. And a wormhole is not called معراج in Arabic. The word معراج s usually translated as "ascent".
مِعْراج ( اسم ): المِعْرَاج
Mohammad's midnight ascent into Heaven - prophet Mohammad's midnight journey to Heaven - a path or way up to the top of something; upward path or slope المختصر
مِعْراج ( اسم ): مِعْرَج
ascent ; ladder ; place of ascent ; route of ascent ; stairs
Although the word mi'raaj doesn't mean "wormhole", some propagandists of "miracles in the Quran" claim that it means "wormhole".
A wormhole acts as a shortcut connecting two distant regions in the universe.
God gave this method of transportation to his angels throughout the universe. The Quran calls them 'Ma'arej' (معارج) and describes how angels use them for long distance travel. Today Moslems know that these 'Ma'arej' is what scientists call wormholes.
معارج (ma'aarej) is a plural of معراج' (mi'raaj).
The translation that debunked itself
Promoters of "miracles in the Quran" tried to hide that the meaning of the word ma'aarej is "ascent" by translating it as "wormhole" in the Quran:
مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذِي الْمَعَارِجِ تَعْرُجُ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ
(a penalty) from Allah (who owns) wormholes [Ma'arej in Arabic] The angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years.
Although the translation of معارج (ma'aarej) was manipulated to "wormholes", in the next part of the verse, the word تعرج (ta'ruju) which is derived from the same root عرج as the word معارج (ma'aarej) is translated as "ascend". How is it possible that the verb is "ascend", but the noun derived from it is not "ascent", but "wormhole"?
And let's see what other translations say:
Sahih International: [It is] from Allah, owner of the ways of ascent.
Yusuf Ali: (A Penalty) from Allah, Lord of the Ways of Ascent.
Muhsin Khan: From Allah, the Lord of the ways of ascent.
Pickthall: From Allah, Lord of the Ascending Stairways
Time dilaton
(a penalty) from Allah (who owns) wormholes [Ma'arej in Arabic] The angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years.
Firstly, the word "day" in 70:4 is usually translated with a capital D:
Muhsin Khan: The angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] ascend to Him in a Day the measure whereof is fifty thousand years,
Pickthall: (Whereby) the angels and the Spirit ascend unto Him in a Day whereof the span is fifty thousand years.
Sahih International: The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.
Yusuf Ali: The angels and the spirit ascend unto him in a Day the measure whereof is (as) fifty thousand years:
That's because the classical interpretation is that it is the Day of Judgement:
And secondly, the verse says "ascend to Him in a day, the measure of which is fifty thousand years", so if it means time dilation, then they travel for one day and meanwhile 50 000 years pass on Earth. So there is no way angel Gabriel could travel between god and Earth in Muhammad's lifetime. The verse doesn't talk about ratio "1 day/50 000 years" and maybe the angels travel much less than 1 day. It literally says "ascend to Him in a day". So it takes 1 day for Gabriel and 50 000 years for Muhammad on Earth and Gabriel wouldn't even have chance to deliver message from god to Muhammad, because Muhammad would be long dead, before Gabriel comes.
The scientific evidence
Although promoters of "wormholes in the Quran" claim that angels use wormholes to get to Earth and back, they haven't provided any scientific evidence for the existence of the wormholes anywhere near Earth.
