The very long link was messing up the format of the references section and on mobile shifted the entire page to the left. Also for verses we use the {{Quran}} or {{Quran-range}} templates. Still think adornment point has a too obvious refutation (20th century onwards anyone can marvel at Hubble images etc.) but will leave for now.

Bit of editing as conciseness and hard choices of points/quotes to include are necessary in such an already very long but important article. Citations for the most uncontroversial, easily verifiable things like death dates can be omitted. Couple of removals (adornment point would be countered due to space telescope images admired by many people; final resting place interpretation is first attributed to Qatadah b. Di'amah b. 680 CE).

Secondly I have added dates (and referenced) to when al-Jalalyan's tasfir was written, showing even significantly after the spherical Earth was known, the matter was far from settled (due to their analysis of the wording of the quran).
